What is on Week Two?

What’s on this week - Week 2 - Term 3

We have a busy week this week with College Visits for our Year 7 and 8 students plus Learning Discussions on Wednesday and Thursday after school.

Monday / Rᾱhina -
Breakfast Club is open,
new homework given out.  
Otago Problem Solving for some students.
Some Yr 8’s are going to Wai Col for their Open Afternoon - please let us know if this is your child.
Kapahaka last 2 blocks with Whaea Lesley and Matua Frank.  Reliever in Room 13.

Tuesday / Rᾱtū -
Technology at Makoura College for yr 7 and 8 students.  All long hair tied up and covered shoes are a must. A container if you are cooking please.  
After Technology all Yr 7 & 8 students will stay on at Makoura for their Open afternoon.  We will be back at school by 2pm.  
Yr 6’s from Rms 12/13 will be with Mrs MacGregor for Drama,Enviro (projects) and Leadership skills.  
At 2.15pm we will be visiting our Whanau Olympic Groups in preparation for next week's ‘School Olympics Day.’

Wednesday / Rᾱapa -  
Breakfast Club,
fitness,
Gardening Group with Mrs Bullock.  
All year 8’s will be visiting Kuranui College Open Day. Matua will be going along. Students will leave school at 9am sharp and return by 3pm. Please be here in time to get the bus. If you do not want your child to go for the day - please let us know.  All other students from Rooms 14 and 12 will be in Room 14 for the day.
Learning discussions will be from 3.30pm until 8pm.

Thursday / Rᾱpare -
Breakfast Club is open.
Fitness.
Football Tournament from 10am till 2pm.  Mrs Mac and Matua will be with our students for the day and please feel free to come along and support your child.
Learning discussions will continue from 3.30 to 5pm.
Kuranui Open Evening from 6.30pm - all welcome.

Friday / Rᾱmere -
Sausage Sizzle order on the S.L.S. deck before school.
Whole School Assembly - 3rd block.
Friday sports for all students from Yr 3 to 8 - weather permitting

Chocolate Orders for Camp fundraising are due this week as I will only be ordering once.  If you need another form, please let us know.  Camp contracts and parent expressions of interest for camp are also due.
