This week it is Book Week at Carterton School

This week it is Carterton School's Book Week

The theme for Book Week is : Bugs

There will be a book display in the library: A selection of fiction and non-fiction books about bugs.

There will be a dress up day: on Friday. Dress up as a fictional or real bug or you can wear an accessory that is a bug theme e.g. pipe cleaners as antennae, pipe cleaners twisted together to make a spider in their hair, themed gloves or what ever you can create to wear... Bugs can be real or fictional as both are written about in books.

There will be bug theme decorations in the library go and have a look.

There will be lunch time quick reads from staff members.

Discounted Book sales:
During Parent/Teacher interviews on Wednesday 3 rd of August and Thursday 4 th of August, Steve from Almos Bookstore will be here selling a selection of books from his store including lots of great children’s books at great prices for sale in the library. Every book sold will go in the draw to win a GIANT Hungry Caterpillar soft toy and 20% of all book sales will come back to our school in books. Almos Bookstore will also be carrying this promotion on in store until the 7 th of August. When you go into the store to buy a book, tell them you’re from Carterton School to go in the draw and earn our school some great new books.
