Sausage and Juicy Orders

Some of our wonderful students have volunteered to collect sausage sizzle and juicy orders on Friday morning from 8:15 until 8:55.
This is a fundraiser for Team Kahikatea's end of year camp.

Learning @ Carterton School Open Afternoon

A School Open Afternoon - called 'Learning @ Carterton School' will be taking place 12.45-3pm on Thursday 26 May. All classroom will be open for parents and the community to visit.

Music Lessons

No music lessons this week. Mrs Ashby will start them next week - Week 2 Term 2.

Basketball

Year 7 / 8 Basketball - we have a coach for the team. 
Dallas Te Rangi will be at school on Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 8:30 am - starting this week. 
We are so lucky to have his expertise to coach our students. 
Players - Your first game is next Wednesday. 
Permission slips need to be returned ASAP. 
A huge thanks to Whaea Jo for organising this for us.

Sausage Sizzle on Friday

Sausages are on sale every Friday for Term 2
$1:50 for a sausage and $1:00 for a juicy.
Orders take on Room 13 deck before school.
Fundraising for Team Kahikatea end of year camp.

Today

Technology today for Yrs 7 & 8 students at Makoura. This is our second rotation.
All long hair tied back and covered shoes are a must.
If you know you are cooking, please bring along a container. 
Year 6's from Rooms 12/13 will be with Mrs Mac doing some drama, Enviro theme work and some PE skills.

First Day Back

Awesome first day. Team powhiri, fitness, ANZAC and Change inquiry started and it is great to be in our new room.  Homework came home tonight, due back Monday.
